Unlike a traditional ultrasonic diffuser, your Gloryboundus Home diffuser does not require a water tank. Essential oil is nebulized directly into a fine aromatic mist.
Place It Securely
Set the diffuser upright on a stable, dry and level surface before installing the glass reservoir.
Add Essential Oil
Pour a small amount of compatible essential oil into the glass reservoir. Do not overfill.
Power On
Connect the supplied power cable or ensure your cordless model is charged, then turn the control clockwise to start diffusion.
Adjust the Scent
Start at a low intensity and increase gradually until the fragrance level feels right for your room.
A little fragrance goes a long way.
Waterless nebulization uses concentrated oil rather than a diluted water-and-oil mixture. Begin gently and adjust according to your room, oil and personal preference.
Start Low
Begin with a lower output setting. Increase only if you want a stronger fragrance presence.
Keep It Upright
Do not carry, tilt or turn the diffuser upside down while essential oil remains in the glass reservoir.
Give the Room Time
Fragrance builds gradually. Allow several minutes before deciding whether you need to increase the intensity.
Keep every scent clear and true.
Essential oils can leave residue inside the glass and narrow nebulizing pathway. A simple cleaning routine helps maintain consistent mist and prevents different fragrances from blending together.
Turn the diffuser off.
Disconnect power where applicable and make sure the unit is not running before handling the glass.
Remove any remaining oil.
Carefully pour unused oil out of the glass reservoir. Wipe visible residue with a soft lint-free cloth or cotton swab.
Add a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
Add only enough rubbing alcohol to rinse the lower part of the glass reservoir. You do not need to fill the vessel.
Gently rinse.
Swirl the alcohol around the inside of the glass to loosen oil residue. Avoid aggressive shaking or impact against the glass.
Run a short cleaning cycle.
With the reservoir correctly installed, operate the diffuser briefly so a small amount of alcohol can move through the same nebulizing pathway used by the fragrance oil.
Empty and air-dry completely.
Pour out the used alcohol and leave the glass open until fully dry before adding fragrance oil again.
Use isopropyl alcohol only in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from flames, heat and sparks. Never operate decorative lighting during cleaning unless your product instructions specifically permit it.
Weak mist? Give the glass pathway a deeper clean.
Thick or dried essential oil can gradually restrict the narrow atomizing pathway. A deeper alcohol cleaning is usually the first thing to try when mist becomes noticeably weaker.
When to deep clean
- Mist output has become noticeably weaker.
- You can see an oily film inside the glass.
- A previous scent remains after changing oils.
- The diffuser has been used frequently for several days.
- You have been using thicker or resinous oils.
A simple maintenance rhythm
- Quick rinse when changing very different fragrances.
- Regular clean every 1–2 weeks with frequent use.
- Deep clean whenever mist performance begins to drop.
- Always allow the glass to dry fully before refilling.
No mist? Check these first.
A diffuser that powers on but produces little or no mist often needs a simple power, airflow or cleaning check.
1. Confirm power.
Make sure the cable is firmly connected or, for a rechargeable model, charge the diffuser fully with the recommended charging setup.
2. Check the oil level.
Make sure there is enough oil for the internal tube to draw from, but do not fill above the recommended level.
3. Listen for the pump.
Turn the diffuser on and listen for a soft motor or airflow sound. Remember that some models use intermittent diffusion cycles and may pause normally between bursts.
4. Check the airflow.
Remove the glass carefully and switch the base on briefly. If you can hear the pump and feel airflow at the outlet, the base is likely working and the glass nebulizing pathway may simply need cleaning.
5. Deep-clean the glass.
Perform the alcohol cleaning process above, allow the glass to dry, reinstall it correctly and test again with fresh compatible oil.
6. Still no mist?
Stop using the unit and contact our support team. Do not disassemble the electronic base or force objects into the air outlet.

- Do not insert needles or hard objects into the atomizer.
- Do not place the diffuser beside open flames or high heat.
Good to know.
Does this diffuser need water?
No. It is designed as a waterless nebulizing diffuser. Fragrance oil is diffused without a traditional water tank.
How often should I clean it?
For regular use, a deeper clean approximately every one to two weeks is a useful starting point. Clean sooner if mist becomes weaker, the glass develops visible residue, or you use particularly thick oils.
Should I clean it when changing scents?
A quick alcohol rinse is helpful when changing between very different fragrances because it reduces carry-over from the previous oil.
Can I wash the wooden base?
No. Never immerse the wooden/electronic base in water or cleaning solution. Wipe the exterior gently instead.
Why is my diffuser making sound but not producing mist?
If the internal pump is running but mist is absent or very weak, oil residue in the glass atomizing pathway may be restricting airflow. Try the deep-clean process before contacting support.
Why does the diffuser pause while it is switched on?
Some models use intermittent mist cycles by design. A pause does not necessarily indicate a fault. Check the operating mode before troubleshooting the device.
What type of oil should I use?
Use fragrance or essential oils that are compatible with waterless nebulizing diffusers. Very thick blends and oils containing heavy carrier oils can require more frequent cleaning and may not be suitable for every atomizer.
